Support Breast Cancer Awareness

I am proud to announce the Hope-Candle for a Cure. This lovely candle was created for Susan G. Komen for the Cure to breast cancer. It is a limited edition 16 oz jar candle perfumed with a high end designer fragrance. For each candle sold the company will donate $10 to the Susan G. Komen foundation! Their intital goal is $5,000 to be raised. So, if you know someone whose lives have been  touched by this disease, what a wonderful way to honor their memory and support a worthwhile cause.

The American Cancer Society stated that in 2010, over 39,840 women lost their lives as a result of breast cancer.This is too many, we need to find every opportunity we can to further research on this behalf!  Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of death in women, after lung cancer. 

The chance of a woman having breast cancer sometime during her life is 1 in 8, but the chance of dying from it is 1 in 35.
